Volunteers Needed for a Research Study on
Developing and Evaluating a Return to Work Program for Persons with Anxiety Disorders
If you are between the ages of 19 and 60 and are currently on temporary disability leave due to a diagnosed anxiety disorder for at least 1 month and receiving disability benefits, you may be eligible for this return to work (RTW) program.
To determine your eligibility, you will be asked to complete a telephone screening interview and attend an assessment at UBC. If eligible, you will be asked to participate in an 8 week RTW program at UBC. You will also be asked to attend follow-up assessments. These assessments involve completing an interview and questionnaires. The total time that you will be asked to dedicate to the study will be approximately 48 hours over a 4 to 6 month period. You may also be invited to participate in two patient focus groups, which will take an additional 3 hours.
